About

Hi. I’m Travis Corcoran.

I’m an engineer, and my wife and I have been hobby farmers on Quaker Street for the last 8 years. We work at our day jobs and pay our taxes. On the weekends we try to improve our land – and the entire neighborhood – by clearing out invasive species like knotweed and poison ivy, planting orchards, gardens, and vineyards, logging firewood, and raising livestock for food (sheep, chickens, and a few pigs).

We’re proud of all of the hard work we’ve done on our fields, walls, and orchards. Drive past our farm at 275 Quaker Street and take a look, and wave to our sheep.

My hobbies include woodworking, and my wife likes to sew.

We don’t want to change anything about Weare; it’s perfect just as it is. The only thing we want to do is block unethical back-room deals that help politically connected people and screw over everyone else.
